 | Wednesday, September 10th, 2053: Bad News for Indiana, Manuel Cortínes Injured After the end of today's game between Indiana and New York, Manuel Cortínes skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after being hit by a pitch, the Bombers had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The third baseman will miss at least one week with a concussion. Cortínes has collected 119 hits for the Bombers this year, 33 of them home runs. He has also netted 86 RBIs and scored 94 runs while batting .253. |
