 | Wednesday, October 1st, 2053: Sensational Month for UL Rookie The United League made the official announcement today. The Rookie of the Month honor went to Jacob Barrett of Mexico City. He was singled out as the top-rated rookie for the month of September. Last month the 27-year-old Coyotes second baseman played in 25 games and hit .364 with 7 doubles, no triples and 1 home run. Barrett also scored 13 times and drove in 15 runs. This season Barrett has delivered 70 hits in 256 at-bats for a .273 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .333 clip and his totals also include 32 RBIs and 32 runs scored. This year Barrett has played in 90 games. |
