Take Two Baseball League News Article | | | Sunday, May 17th, 2054: Eagles Pitching Ravaged by Coultrip "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Boston first baseman Matt Coultrip said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Washington Eagles at Ballpark of Boston. "I got some good counts and used the whole field."
The Dockers had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 6-4.
M. Coultrip hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off B. Ward in the 8th.
So far this season Coultrip is hitting .290 with 11 home runs, 28 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 49 hits in 169 at-bats and a .363 OBP. | |
