| Breaking News |  | Monday, May 25th, 2054: SEHSL's Best Hitter for 2054 Named
The 2054 Southeast HS League Outstanding Hitter Award has been picked and the honor went to the Round Rock HS Dragons hitting machine, Jeffrey Blackwell. He compiled a .419 batting average with 67 hits, 18 doubles, 6 triples and 13 home runs, along with 54 RBIs and 51 runs scored.
This weekend Blackwell will be honored by the SION Baseball Writers Association at its annual awards dinner.

 | Monday, May 25th, 2054: NEHSL Announces Outstanding Batter Award
This season's premier hitter in the Northeast HS League was José Correa. He went on a hitting spree early this season and just never stopped, finishing up with a .450 batting average and claiming the 2054 Outstanding Hitter Award.
The Austin HS center fielder battered opposing pitchers for 36 hits, 9 doubles, 5 triples, 6 home runs and 30 RBIs while scoring 23 times.
The annual SBWA awards dinner is this weekend. All of the major award winners will be there to receive their trophies for their outstanding achievements this past season.

This year the Southeast HS League spotlight fell on Ira Myers of the Round Rock HS Dragons.
What a 2054 season he had!
A fine 7-0 won-lost record, 2.64 ERA, 9 starts, 61.1 innings and 59 strikeouts -- a season good enough to get him the SEHSL Outstanding Pitcher Award.
All of the award-winning players will be honored this weekend at the SBWA annual awards dinner.
