Monday, September 14th, 2054: Monterrey Missions Win Round 3
It was a storybook year for the Monterrey Missions as they closed out a 4-1 series win over the Rapid City Gold Miners to claim the 2054 Round 3. They wrapped it up with a 5-3 victory to cap an incredible season and brought home their 1st championship.

The Missions manager gave his view of the series, "We had a lot of things going for us, offense and defense doing it at the right time. That's what it takes win a Round 3."

"We're disappointed we lost, but we're also very proud of what we did all year," said the Gold Miners manager. "They played better baseball than us and they beat us."

During the United League AAA Division 1 regular season Monterrey put up a 78-52 record and finished first.
Monday, July 13th, 2054: ULAAA Player of the Week Named
Bill Lancaster of Monterrey was a smashing success this week, winning the Player of the Week Award in the United League AAA.

He hit everything the pitchers threw at him, hammering them for a .500 batting average, going 13 for 26 with 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and scoring 6 times.

Batting .284 to date, Lancaster has 2 home runs and 6 RBIs.
Monday, July 6th, 2054: ULAAA's Best Player Named
Today the United League AAA announced its Player of the Week Award winner: Monterrey Missions second baseman Vincente Valdéz, who batted .500 (10-20) with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

So far this year Valdéz is batting .288 with 4 home runs.
