It is unknown at this time if there is any truth to the rumor that Round Rock's Todd Lee has asked his team for a trade. Insiders indicate the left fielder may not be happy with the club management. So far, the team's owners have refused to comment.

Rumors circulating around town, say starting pitcher Billy McCoy is not happy at all playing in Round Rock and that the Rangers are actively shopping him around.

"Alex Watson is really a good pitcher when he throws strikes early in the count," said his manager after the Omaha hurler tossed a complete game 6-hit shutout against the Round Rock Rangers.
"I went right after each hitter, trying to get ahead in the count," said Watson. "I wanted them to swing the bats and keep my pitch count down. It worked. I felt strong the whole game, even in the last two innings."
Watson walked 1 and struck out 3 in the 5-0 victory.
To date this year, Watson shows a 7-4 record, 14 starts, 104.1 innings, 46 strikeouts and a 3.02 ERA.
