Omaha rode the magical arm of Ryan Marshall in a 6-0 shutout win over Columbus. He shackled them on 1 hit and fanned 12. Almost to a man, the Columbus Knights said he had them guessing wrong all game long.
Marshall has started 17 times this year, pitched 118 innings, fanned 140 batters and walked 34. His current record is 7 wins and 4 losses with a 2.97 ERA.

Ryan Steele of the Columbus Knights had a spectacular week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the United League AAA.
For the week Steele batted .536 (15-28) with no home runs and 1 RBIs.
So far this year in 33 games Steele is hitting .375 with no home runs, 12 RBIs and 24 runs scored.

 | Monday, April 27th, 2054: 5-5 Day for Gonzáles
José Gonzáles really did a number on the Reapers in the Columbus 6-2 victory. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 5 at-bats. But José Gonzáles did just that today for the Knights and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win.
"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 25-year-old center fielder said after his record-setting performance.
J. Gonzáles singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
In the 2054 season Gonzáles is hitting .322 with 1 home run.
