Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 5 at-bats. But José Gonzáles did just that today for the Knights and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win.
"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 25-year-old center fielder said after his record-setting performance.
J. Gonzáles singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
