Their motto for the season was "Win or Die Trying".

Wilber McCutcheon of the Waterbeasts came to the plate 5 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Stillwater.
In the postgame press conference the Stillwater skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink."
W. McCutcheon doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off R. Figueroa in the 7th.

Stillwater's Ricardo Pérez had a very special day against the Waterbeasts when everything came together for him. He really swung the bat with authority, getting 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, it was Burlington that picked up the victory. They topped the Seals 13-11 at Stillwater Stadium.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Pérez said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em. I had a great day, but the loss kinda put a damper on the day."
Disappointed or not, he still gets his name written in the record books.
R. Pérez flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off H. González in the 9th.
