Everyday everyone is checking up on Shannon Bryan to see if he got a hit to keep his hitting streak alive. Today's answer is "yes". He did it with a 1-4 day against the Clippers. The Spotsylvania Falcons catcher stretched the streak to 20 games in his team's 8-4 triumph over the Duluth Clippers at Falcons Ballpark.
S. Bryan singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th and flied out in the 6th.
In the 2055 season Bryan has hit .318 with 3 home runs, 29 RBIs and scored 36 runs. |
 | Friday, June 25th, 2055: Duluth's Santos Shuts Out Jets
In an impressive mound performance, Lorenzo Santos of the Duluth Clippers checked the Terre Haute Jets on a 4-hitter and held them scoreless.
"He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," said the Terre Haute manager. "Santos kept us confused the whole game."
The Duluth hurler rang up 8 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his 11-0 shutout victory.
So far this season Santos has a record of 7-6 with 67 strikeouts and 45 walks in 99.2 innings and a 4.24 ERA.
