For the week the 20-year-old first baseman batted .500 (15-30) with no home runs and 3 RBIs.
So far this year in 33 games Willis is hitting .328 with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |  | Saturday, July 18th, 2054: Roosters Blank Card Sharks Orlando Valéncia of the Charleston Roosters was right on target when he blanked the Carson City Card Sharks 9-0, yielded 3 hits and totaled 2 walks and 8 strikeouts.
Speaking to SION reporters after the game, Valéncia said, "I had everything working today and I got some help from my defense, too. They saved my butt a few times."

But a 5-hit game only comes around once in a blue moon. It happened at Glendale Grounds when Kelsey Goodman of Glendale scattered 5 hits all over the ballpark against the Charleston Roosters.
He walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats in his career-day performance to help the Jewelers get by the Roosters 16-5.
In a talkative and jovial mood after the game, the center fielder of the Jewelers exclaimed, "Whoa, my swing was really, really there today. I made some good, sweet-spot contact and when that happens...good things happen...like 5-6. I could get used to a lot of days like this one."
K. Goodman singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off K. Miyake in the 9th.
