The Federal League A made it official today: Bill Moon is the Player of the Week.
He really glistened on the diamond this week with a .586 average to take home the honor. The Tulsa left fielder went 17-29, drove in 3 runs, scored 5 times and hit no home runs.

| Wednesday, April 7th, 2055: 5-Hit Barrage by Moon
Tulsa left fielder Bill Moon put on quite a show at Drillers Ballpark with a big 5-hit day in the 2-1 victory over the Midland Rattlers.
In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate... 5-6... wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average... and my salary, too."
B. Moon singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, flied out in the 9th and singled in the 12th.

 | Thursday, September 17th, 2054: FLA Gives Best Pitcher Award
Manny Martínez of the Tulsa Drillers had an extraordinary 14-6 season in 2054 and claimed the Federal League A Outstanding Pitcher Award.
He started 24 times, threw 180 innings, while collecting 117 strikeouts and a 1.65 ERA. Martínez allowed only 130 hits, 55 walks and a .201 batting average.
The SION Baseball Writers Association will present his trophy to him at the annual gathering this weekend.
