Tuesday, September 22nd, 2054: Reilly on Rampage Against Greyhounds!
5 hits in 5 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Jeffrey Reilly of the Twin Falls Kings had a sensational 5-5 game against San Benito at Twin Falls Stadium. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark, but it didn't pay off in a victory. The Greyhounds took the game 7-6.

In the postgame press conference Reilly joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off...Right, Skip?" His manager retorted half-smilingly, "Only if we win the game, son...only if we win the ballgame. That's what they pay us to do, you know."

J. Reilly singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

To date this season Reilly is hitting .247 with 5 home runs.
Friday, September 18th, 2054: Mesh Smacks 5 Hits for Tigers
Players get multi-hit games all the time. But a 5-hit game only comes around once in a blue moon. It happened at Royston Ballpark when Pat Mesh of Royston scattered 5 hits all over the ballpark against the Twin Falls Kings.

He walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats in his career-day performance to help the Tigers get by the Kings 13-2.

In a talkative and jovial mood after the game, the right fielder of the Tigers exclaimed, "Whoa, my swing was really, really there today. I made some good, sweet-spot contact and when that happens...good things happen...like 5-6. I could get used to a lot of days like this one."

P. Mesh singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off J. Unknown in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This season Mesh is swinging the bat at a .393 rate with 84 hits in 214 at-bats. To date he has hit 10 home runs, scored 42 runs and driven in 39.
Sunday, September 6th, 2054: Grand Prairie Holds Twin Falls Scoreless
"He's got a bunch of different arm angles and his ball was really moving," said the Twin Falls manager after watching Diego Ramírez of the Grand Prairie Air Hogs humiliate his club 4-0 in a fine 3-hit shutout.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Ramírez said after he befuddled the Kings. "I was making good pitches the entire game."

He whiffed 6 and walked 0 in the complete game effort.

This season Ramírez has compiled a 3-5 mark with a 3.48 ERA.
