| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, November 4th, 2054: Takeshi Yoshikawa Captures FLR Outstanding Hitter Award
Takeshi Yoshikawa put together a tremendous season at the plate for Bull Head City, capturing one of baseball's most coveted offensive trophies, the Federal League R Outstanding Hitter Award.
He posted a .365 batting average and .458 on-base percentage this year while reeling off 81 hits, 9 doubles, no triples, 19 home runs and 54 RBIs.
For being named the FLR's top hitter, Yoshikawa will be honored at the SION Baseball Writers awards banquet this weekend.

All week long Archie Caldwell was the talk of the Federal League R...his name and face were everywhere. So it was no surprise to anyone when he was chosen the Federal League R's Player of the Week for his exceptional performance.
Caldwell put up a solid set of stats, compiling a .500 average (14-28) and contributing 1 home run and 4 RBIs to claim the honor.
Thus far this season Caldwell is hitting .360 with 2 home runs, 19 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 228 at-bats and has played in 55 games.

 | Friday, September 18th, 2054: Davis Spins Shutout Against San Benito
Dave Davis spun his magic in a 6-0 shutout victory, allowing 6 hits while totaling no walks and 3 strikeouts.
The Bull Head City pitcher put quite a spell on San Benito in a strong performance.
"I had a lot of good things working in this one," Davis said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count."
Davis in 2054 has fashioned a 5-4 mark, 3.69 ERA and thrown 97.2 innings in 14 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .265 against him.
