Wednesday, September 16th, 2054: Rowe Sharp in Shutout
Ezra Rowe was downright nasty in pitching a 6-0 shutout against Chino Hills. His splitter was diving, his slider was breaking and the Cows were swinging and looking bad. In the solid 3-hit shutout the Rooks hurler chalked up 3 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing.

"As the game went on, he got stronger," his manager said. "I thought he really turned it up a notch in the eighth and ninth and probably threw his best breaking balls in those two innings. They put a lot of balls in play early in the count because he was throwing strikes."

This season to date Rowe has a record of 1 win and no losses with a 3.75 ERA, has appeared in 9 games and struck out 8 in 24 innings.

Tuesday, September 1st, 2054: Chino Hills's Lima Top Pitcher in August
There was nobody finer on the mound in August and Julián Lima cruised to the United League R Pitcher of the Month award today.

He was 7-1 with a 1.70 ERA while piling up 33 strikeouts in 58.1 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .208 batting average.

To date in 2054, Lima sports a 8-1 mark with a 1.82 ERA in 11 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .210 batting average and has 44 strikeouts in 79 innings.

Tuesday, September 1st, 2054: Orozco Grabs ULR Best Batter Award for August
In August, Pedro Orozco was the toughest out in the United League R and that is the prime reason he was voted the Batter of the Month.

The Chino Hills first baseman rapped out 31 hits in 94 at-bats for a .330 batting average, hit 4 home runs, drove in 18 runs and scored 23 times.
