| Breaking News |  | Monday, April 12th, 2055: New York, Florida Confirm Swap
The Knights and Manatees pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 23-year old left fielder Javier Ayala head to Florida in exchange for a 7th round draft pick. A source close to New York officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs."
Ayala has played in 412 games with a .259 lifetime batting average. Among his 329 hits are 67 doubles, 16 triples and 40 home runs. He also has scored 169 runs and driven in 197 runs.

 | Monday, April 12th, 2055: Stallions-Manatees Trade: Carrillo for St-Jean
The Stallions have reached a deal with Florida, sending 20-year old minor league catcher Orlando Carrillo and a 4th round draft pick to the Manatees in exchange for 28-year old starting pitcher Sébastien St-Jean. Reports had been hinting at a deal in recent days, but weren't confirmed until this afternoon.
St-Jean has posted 15 victories and 20 defeats in his career with a 3.49 ERA.
