Feedback was positive in Washington today as the club announced an agreement with reliever José García, one of the league's marquee players.
Lifetime García has made 314 relief appearances and converted 21 saves. His record stands at 26-and-12 with a 2.21 ERA.

The Eagles and Phoenix pulled the trigger on a deal that will see a 13th round draft pick head to Chicago in exchange for 33-year old starting pitcher Fernando Gutiérrez. A source close to Washington officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs."
In his career Gutiérrez has compiled an ERA of 4.20 with 49 victories and 49 defeats and has held opponents to a .263 batting average.

Eagles officials hailed the signing of Stephen White as "an integral piece to our championship puzzle," though fans were somewhat more reserved about the signing.
White will pocket $6,540,000 over 3 years.
