| Breaking News |  | Tuesday, May 26th, 2054: Injury Takes Toll, Bingham Out 2 Weeks
The Las Vegas Aces will lose the services of left fielder Larry Bingham after he sustained a fractured hand while colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Washington Eagles. When asked about the injury, he took a philosophical approach. "Worse things can happen in life," Bingham said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for the next 2 weeks.
Bingham is batting .284 with 7 home runs and 21 RBIs this season. |

All week long Wilson Casas was the toughest out in the Federal League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week.
The Las Vegas second baseman rapped out 12 hits in 20 at-bats for a .600 batting average, drove in 6 runs and scored 5 times.
Presently Casas is batting .309 and has collected 3 home runs, 22 RBIs, .397 OBP and scored 16 runs.

Las Vegas fans held their breath as Ricardo Ibarra left yesterday's Red Wings-Aces contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 26-year-old third baseman had suffered a bruised cheekbone while making a defensive play. It's estimated that he will be out 2 weeks.
This season Ibarra is batting .259 with 3 home runs. He has scored 8 runs and driven in 8.
