Minnesota starting pitcher Steve Smith hasn't felt well lately and now has been diagnosed with a migraine. He's expected to be day-to-day for one week.
This season Smith has compiled a 16-10 mark with a 3.81 ERA in 33 starts.

Minnesota fans held their breath as Nolan Ferguson left yesterday's Alpines-Muskies contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 32-year-old left fielder had suffered a scratched cornea while being hit by a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 2 weeks.
This year Ferguson is batting .292 with 19 home runs and 76 RBIs.
