| Breaking News |  | Sunday, September 13th, 2054: Brito Day-to-Day with Injury Houston's star second baseman Gabriel Brito injured himself in a game against the Cape Cod Hooks, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a bruised cheekbone and the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Brito with a smile as he talked to SION reporters.
This season Brito is hitting .258 with 19 home runs. |  | Friday, September 4th, 2054: Houston Loses Dave Bradford "It was kinda freaky. Hopefully, I'll be back in the lineup soon," said a dejected Dave Bradford after injuring himself in a game against Baltimore. The Houston manager told SION reporters, "He will miss up to 2 weeks with a bruised foot." The Barracudas will have to decide over the next day or two whether the shortstop will go on the disabled list.
