Despite the number of years he's been in the league, Dewey Rowland still gets excited when he puts together a quality stretch like he had in May. The 31-year-old starter for New York was named United League Pitcher of the Month earlier today.

The New York Knights have parted ways with a 1st round draft pick, sending him to the Florida Manatees for 17-year old minor league left fielder Darrell Wyatt. The Knights general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning.
