Friday, October 23rd, 2054: SP Brennan and Cape Cod Come to Terms on Extension
The Hooks must be relieved this evening as word that Matt Brennan has decided to stay put became reality. The 30-year-old will call Cape Cod home for at least another 4 years.

Thus far in his career, Brennan has 32 victories and 45 defeats with a 4.24 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .263 average.

Friday, October 2nd, 2054: Austin Whitewashes Cape Cod
Greg Thompson of the Austin Senators really strutted his stuff on the mound today with a 1-0 victory. He was almost untouchable, bewildering the Cape Cod Hooks with a 2-hit shutout in which he struck out 5 and gave up 1 walk.

In 34 starts this year Thompson has recorded a 18-7 record and a 2.89 ERA.
